The Beauty Tan treatment is unique in that, for the first time, it offers light therapy treatment with a combination of UV-A and UV-B and Collagen light.

The UV treatment closely matches the biological properties of the natural sun, ensuring a natural tan.

Collagen light treatment is also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM) and thousands of research articles have been published demonstrating the beneficial effects of PBM.

PBM treatment is performed with an intensive light source with a wavelength between 600 and 1300 nanometers (nm). Our light therapy uses visible collagen light with a wavelength that is particularly suitable for skin treatments such as wound healing, acne treatment and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

What is

traditional light therapy?

Traditional light therapy differs from red light therapy in that it is used to treat winter depression and generally boost mood during the dark season. Winter depression is caused by a lack of light, which affects serotonin levels in the brain. Lack of serotonin can be a trigger for depression.

The reason why light therapy can alleviate winter depression can be divided into three:

This type of treatment can be done with a light therapy lamp, which consists of a large screen with light that you sit in front of for half an hour to an hour every day.

However, the best method is to get out into natural daylight, especially when the sun is shining. If you find it difficult to get out during the day because you work indoors, for example, you can do a lot to create optimal lighting conditions indoors so that you get as much daylight as possible through the windows. Also, try not to wear sunglasses when you do spend time in daylight to make the most of the daylight.
